Survey: “Röntgen” – the most popular and best crowdfunding platform in Lithuania
The crowdfunding community “Crowdfunding Lietuva” published the results of an investor survey conducted at the beginning of 2026. According to the study, “Rontgen” became the country’s best operator by a wide margin, and investors value its exemplary payment discipline, professional project selection, transparency, and convenience the most.
In January, “Crowdfunding Lietuva” initiated a comprehensive survey of more than 5,000 community members about project selection, risk management, and dozens of other criteria across all platforms operating in Lithuania. The study also examined investors’ own experiences and priorities.
After analyzing 337 responses, it turned out that “Rontgen” is currently the most popular crowdfunding operator in the country: 61.4% (or 207) of respondents have invested there at least once. Second place was taken by “Profitus” (59.3%), followed by “Savy” (30.9%), “InRento” (21.7%), and “Finbee” (21.1%). These results largely reflect the amounts raised by most operators in 2025, although platforms may differ in average portfolio size or other specifics.
Investors were also asked which Lithuanian operator they consider the best. In this aspect, “Rontgen” stood out not only by taking first place with 43.6% of the vote, but also by a clear lead over other market participants: “Profitus” came second with 21.4%, and “Savy” received 8.6%.
Analyzing comments related to “Rontgen,” the operator stood out for exemplary payment discipline and a low number of delays – the most frequently mentioned argument by investors. Many users emphasized that they had experienced no delays over several years, while the share of defaulted loans on the platform remains close to zero.
Respondents also mentioned conservative and professional project selection, transparency, high-quality communication, and technical convenience. Overall, “Rontgen” investors indicate that they choose the platform not for the highest return promise, but for stability and peace of mind.
According to “Rontgen” CEO Martynas Stankevicius, the “Crowdfunding Lietuva” survey was valuable as an impartial attempt to assess investor priorities and the overall pulse of the crowdfunding market.
“Crowdfunding is becoming a standard choice for both individuals and real estate developers as well as other businesses. I am glad that the more conservative project selection strategy we chose nearly a decade ago meets the expectations of most investors today and thus contributes to the direction of the entire Lithuanian crowdfunding market,” comments M. Stankevicius.
Regardless of their favorite or most frequently used platform, “Crowdfunding Lietuva” asked investors what matters most when choosing an operator. The most frequently mentioned criteria were platform reputation (67.4%), transparency of risk assessment (65.9%), investment security – collateral, pledges, etc. (57.6%), and return (53.1%). Factors such as clear communication (29.4%), convenience (28.2%), or project variety (17.2%) had noticeably less influence on user choices.
This survey is also interesting for market participants because a large share of respondents were active and experienced investors. “Crowdfunding Lietuva” states that 52.5% of respondents have been involved in crowdfunding for more than 3 years. More than a third invest at least 1–2 times per month, and nearly one-fifth invest as often as 6 times per month or even more.

Over the past year, “Rontgen” investors raised a total of EUR 94.7 million, or 45% more than in 2024. According to unofficial data, these figures are close to a quarter of the entire Lithuanian crowdfunding market.
The platform’s investor community consists of about 23,000 registered members, of whom more than 3,000 invest regularly. The average portfolio of an actively investing user on the platform reached EUR 26,300 last year, while the median – better reflecting a typical “Rontgen” investor – is about EUR 5,000.
Since 2017, the “Rontgen” platform has raised more than EUR 265 million in capital and paid out EUR 17.3 million in interest. On the last day of 2025, the operator’s active loan portfolio amounted to EUR 84.6 million.
